Inch Park Masterplan

A masterplan for Inch Park was developed in 2022 as part of the Thriving Greenspaces Project, funded through the Future Parks Accelerator grant programme.

The masterplan sets out proposals to improve Inch Park and make the space more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for local communities and visitors.

The masterplan was used to support a £20 million Levelling Up Fund application in 2023. Unfortunately, the application was unsuccessful.

What happens next?

Further work is needed to secure funding to take forward the masterplan proposals.

This work is currently on hold while the Parks and Openspace Development Team focuses on delivering a number of projects funded through the Edinburgh Visitor Levy to improve the city’s Premier Parks.

We will share further updates about the Inch Park masterplan when work progresses.
